The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a tornado warning for parts of Fresno County.
The National Weather Service says the warning was issued near Orange Cove and Sanger. Both storms are moving northeast at 20 mph.
Officials are advising people in the area to seek shelter immediately.
A significant weather advisory has been issued for Clovis.
The National Weather Service says a strong thunderstorm is expected 11 miles north of Clovis; with winds up to 40 mph, dime sized hail and lighting.
