Temperatures to drop again


Cool air moving into the Valley dropped temperatures significantly Saturday. Fresno reached a high of just 93 degrees Saturday afternoon — that’s actually the average high for this time of year.

More cooling is expected the second half of the weekend. Sunday’s high will be 85.

Fresno’s overnight low dropped into the 60s Saturday morning. Fresno will even see some nights where temperatures fall into the 50s this week.

The forecast remains dry.

The cooler air is rushing onshore with breezy conditions in the San Joaquin Valley Saturday. The breeze will subside by early Sunday Morning.

Expect mostly sunny conditions and a high of 85 degrees Sunday.

Monday will be sunny with a high of 86.

A few clouds return Tuesday, the coolest day of the week ahead. Expect a high of 83 degrees.

A warming trend begins Wednesday. Temperatures rise to above-average by next weekend.
