Nice Father’s Day, hot next week

More cooling brought Saturday’s temperatures about as close to average as we’ve seen this week. Fresno’s high was 93 degrees. The average high is now 92 degrees.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer Sunday for Father’s Day. Expect a high of 95 degrees.

Skies will be clear overnight and sunny during the day.

Highs climb again Monday with an expected 99 degrees in Fresno. Then we’re back into the hundreds for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The forecast remains dry expect for isolated showers or afternoon storms in the southern Sierra Nevada.
