Windy and cooler this week, mountain showers possible

KGPE Weather

A trough of low pressure brings big changes to the area.

Temperatures are falling and winds will get gusty.

There are several chances for precipitation in the mountains this week, but mainly in Northern California.

Temperatures take another drop. Monday will be nearly 20 degrees cooler than Saturday.

The best chances for wet weather in Central California come in the Yosemite area Monday and Thursday, and these chances remain slim.

Temperatures warm back into the 90s by this time next weekend.
