Fresh off his first visit to the White House for the U.S. conference of mayors, Fresno mayor Jerry Dyer makes an exclusive announcement with Alexan Balekian on Sunday Morning Matters. Dyer says he has accepted a request to chair a national task force on homelessness. Final details and Dyer’s appointment have yet to be finalized. Dyer says Philip Mango, who was a Bush appointee on homeless asked if he would be willing to chair the task force. Dyer accepted and it now heads to the official appointee process.
