Oregon State hires Chris Pendleton as head wrestling coach

FRESNO, Calif. — One of the best wrestlers to come out of the Central Valley has been hired as Oregon State’s new head wrestling coach.

Chris Pendleton was a state champion at Lemoore High School and was a two-time NCAA champion at Oklahoma State.

Pendleton spent the last six seasons as an assistant at Arizona State, where the Sun Devils won three of the last four PAC-12 titles.
