Kenny Wiggins hosts ‘Strikes for Kids’

CLOVIS, Calif. – Bowling for a good cause!

Roughly 100 people showed up to Bowlero Clovis on Tuesday night to participate in the second annual “Strikes for Kids,” an event hosted by former Fresno State lineman Kenny Wiggins.

“It’s just kind of getting out in the community that’s given me so much, and just trying to give back,” said Wiggins, a current lineman for the NFL’s Detroit Lions. “I mean, I met my wife here, I played college football here, and it’s where I call home. And I kind of just wanna show my face and get out in the community, and be a part of this community.”

The money raised from Tuesday’s event will go towards providing hundreds of backpacks for kids in the Fresno area.
