Grizzlies Starter Named Pitcher Of The Year

Fresno Grizzlies starter Brady Rodgers has been named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year for the 2016 season.

According to a statement released by the Fresno Grizzlies, Rodgers, 25, is the first Fresno pitcher to earn the honor, since the award was first given out in 2004.

Rodgers, according to the Grizzlies, is a Houston-area native, and was a third round draft pick of the Astros in 2012 out of Arizona State University.
