Fresno Football Club takes on seven-time champion Club León

Fresno’s Football Club will host seven-time champion Liga MX champion Club León Wednesday night at Chukchansi Park.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m.

The team is expecting a packed house for the match, with at least 10,000 people in the crowd.

This is Club León’s first visit to Fresno since October 2016.

Recently, Léon made headlines in the spring when it signed U.S. superstar Landon Donovan to a short-term contract for the 2018 Spring tournament.

Club León, out of León, Guanajuato in central Mexico, plays in the top division of the Mexican Football Federation and plays its home matches at Estadio León.
