FRESNO, Calif. – On Saturday night, Fresno State hosts Sacramento State at 7:00 pm, the Bulldogs’ first game in two weeks.
The theme for that night is “Bulldog Fiesta.” It is timed perfectly with Hispanic Heritage Month, which began this past Sunday.
“I think it’s great. It’s obviously a big part of the valley,” said head football coach Jeff Tedford. We appreciate the Hispanic community. It makes up a big portion of our crowd, so we’re appreciative to them. And it’s great that we’re able to honor ’em.”
Fresno State has a lot planned for Saturday night, starting with a free “Bulldog Fiesta” tailgate in the Gray Lot. At 5:30 pm, free tacos will be available to the first 1,000 students who arrive at the stadium. And from now through gameday, fans who purchase tickets will receive a Spanish “Pride of the Valley” sign (while supplies last).
