Adelaide 36ers’ coach on Deshon Taylor: “He’s a scorer.”

Sports

Deshon Taylor is currently in Australia, getting set for his first professional season, which starts in October.

The last time we saw Taylor, he was in Las Vegas with the Philadelphia 76ers’ summer league team.

Taylor is the seventh-leading scorer in Fresno State history. His new coach is a fan of his game.

“He’s a scorer. He’s a scorer as well, he led the team in scoring last year in college,” said Joey Wright, head coach of the Adelaide 36ers. “And he also was their best defender and that’s the reason why we signed him, his ability to do both. Since he’s trained he’s hit some big shots and every game shot he’s taken. I do like that. I don’t care if he make it or not, the fact he wants to take the game shot means a lot.”
