An incoming winter storm could impact road conditions in Yosemite National Park.

Park officials say temporary road closures and delays are possible along Big Oak Flat Road (Highway 120 West), Wawona Road (Highway 41), and El Portal Road (Highway 140).

Heavy rain and snow is expected in the area in the next coming days.

Park officials say visitors planning trips to the park in the coming days should plan for winter driving conditions; they encourage all drivers to have tire chains in their vehicle.

For updated 24-hour road and weather conditions for Yosemite National Park, visitors can call 209-372-0200. Updated information is also available on the park’s website at www.nps.gov/yose.
