Fresno State has a unique program that helps future teachers teach science.
Dr. Don Williams is in charge of the program called “Physics Outreach”. This course trains college students how to use demonstrations to explain physics concepts in a clear and concise way to students in K-12. The group also gives physics presentations to children throughout the valley.
Dr. Williams and one of his students, Madison Harris demonstrated their bed of nails which explains the concept of pressure. Our Joe Moeller tried it out and said it wasn’t as bad as it looked.
