Woman severely injured as fire destroys duplex in Central Fresno

Fresno fire investigators are looking into the cause of a three-alarm duplex fire that sent a woman to the hospital.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

40 firefighters battled the fire near Bond and Clinton in Central Fresno. 

Fresno fire said investigators are looking into what caused flames to break out. The injured woman was transported to CRMC with severe injuries.

A dog and several cats were also injured in the fire.
