A Fresno woman is behind bars for allegedly burglarizing homes in Tulare County.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office says 47-year-old Anne Mohoff had broken into two separate homes and took several items of value.

One of the incidents happened in late October on the 12500 Block of Rd 202 in Porterville.

Detectives discovered that she had pawned off many of the stolen items at a pawn shop in Fresno.

A victim was able to identify the stolen property; Mohoff was also identified through surveillance video.

On November 13, detectives tracked Mohoff down in Fresno. She admitted to the thefts, stating she entered the homes, knowing the victims would be at church.

While searching her car and home detectives say no other stolen property was found.

Mohoff was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Pre-Trial Facility in Visalia.
