FRESNO COUNTY, California (KSEE/KGPE) – A 19-year-old woman was killed in a crash Friday night after a big rig driver ran a stop sign, colliding into her.

California Highway Patrol says the big rig driver out of Baltimore, Maryland was possibly driving under the influence of marijuana.

At around 7:10 p.m., the woman was driving westbound on Mountain View Avenue at Clovis Avenue, where there is no stop sign east or westbound.

The big rig driver was driving northbound, blew the stop sign and crashed into the woman’s car, killing her.

She’s identified as Olivia Mendoza, 19, of Fresno.

The big rig driver continued through and hit another big rig head-on. Both drivers sustained minor injuries.

The driver at fault, Andre Hill, 31, was arrested and booked into Fresno County Jail and is facing charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.

His bail is set at $98,500.
