One-year-old girl died after she was left in a hot car in Arizona

A one-year-old girl died after she was left in a hot car in Glendale, Arizona, according to the Glendale police department.

Firefighters performed CPR on the child when they got her out of the car in what appeared to be the parking lot of an apartment complex.

The baby was not revived.

The high temperature in Glendale Monday was 87 degrees.

This is the first reported hot car death in 2019.
