A family of four has been displaced after a fire ripped through their home.

The fire started just after 5 p.mm at 14429 W California Ave.

Fresno fire officials say the four people inside all made it out of the house. Two people had minor injuries, one was taken to the hospital.

Officials say the fire started outside of the house and spread inside. Majority of the house has smoke and heat damage. The total cost of damage is estimated at $50,000 to $80,000.

The Red Cross is helping the family find a place to live.

The fire department says the house had no working smoke detectors.
