A barbecue business in northern Kentucky receives backlash after a shirt it posted on social media.

The Belle’s Smoking Barbecue took a play on the acronym: L-G-B-T-Q.

It changed it to Liberty, Guns, Bible, Trump and BBQ.

The owner created the shirt two years ago and has sold 100 of them and decided to advertise it on Facebook, but some are calling the message insensitive and hateful.

“At the end of the day we have to stand for what we believe in and like I said if I offended anyone that wasn’t our intention, but it was just a play on words.”

The owner took down the post and replaced it with a statement, apologizing if his business had offended anyone.
