News

The Chicken Pie Shop closed it’s doors in March but the owner is now in the process of selling all of their kitchen appliances and memorabilia for the right price.

“Every thing is going. The booths, the pictures on the wall, the ovens, fixtures, you want them, break them loose, you take them with you,” Former Manger Jerry Lopez said.

An there’s more!

From the dishes, cups and yes, the chickens which greeted every one who came in to enjoy a nice hot meal.

“They are so nostalgic. We’re going to take bids on them, an the highest bidder will walk away with the chickens,” Lopez said.

In March, the owner of the pie shop hung up his apron and decided to close his business.

Customers went in to grab one last plate of comfort food.

Jerry Lopez has been working at the shop for over three decades but her last shift was hard to get through because of all of the friends that came in to say goodbye.

“You spend this many years in one area and it’s really nice to know that people care that much for you,” she said.

If you’re interested in buying some of the things inside the pie shop, they’ll be selling the items on Monday,  May 13th from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
