Prostitution sting rescues one and arrests two

TULARE COUNTY, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people have been arrested following a human trafficking sting operation organized by Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

On Saturday, deputies worked alongside Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Tulare County Human Trafficking Task Force, and Visalia Police Department to conduct a pair of undercover operations.

44-year-old Josafat Gutierrez from Hanford was arrested for soliciting an undercover officer. 35-year-old Kenneth Bryson of Elk Grove was arrested for pimping and is also being investigated for human trafficking.

Deputies said an 18-year-old woman from Northern California was rescued from what they believe to be human trafficking.
