Madera County power outage impacts almost 15,000 customers, says PG&E

OAKHURST, California (KSEE/KGPE) – The almost 15,000 customers who were without power in Madera County have had their supply restored.

Crews with PG&E have repaired the damaged power lines outside Chowchilla following a vehicle crash at Road 22 and Avenue 24.

The outage began around 6 p.m. and impacted residents in Coarsegold and Oakhurst. Two incidents were reported on PG&E’s outage map, one affecting 7,718 customers and the other affecting 7,136 customers.
