Hobb's Grove auditions new ghouls, monsters, ghosts

SANGER, California (KSEE/KGPE) – Are you scary enough to enter the Boo Crew at Hobb’s Grove? The Halloween attraction near Sanger is looking for people to scare visitors in the haunted forest, house, and hayride.

Auditions are being held this weekend. Prospective ghouls are being asked to turn up at the Hobb’s Grove site off Goodfellow Avenue, approximately a mile east of Academy Avenue. Interested applicants should arrive between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to fill out an application and begin interviews.

The applicants will then be split into groups to test their scaring skills. Auditions will feature:

  • Screaming
  • Zombie and ogre walks
  • Witch cackling
  • Vampire moves (bring your own fangs)
  • Growls, roars, and wolf howling
  • Kill the person standing next to you / death scene.

Hobb’s Grove’s 21st Season starts October 4th and lasts until November 2nd.
