Three suspects have been arrested in connection to a string of armed robberies in Tulare County.

On November 21 around 4 p.m. Tulare County deputies responded to calls of an armed robbery at the Bandar Smoke shop on Sutter ave in Earlimart. The store clerk told deputies someone came into the store armed with a handgun and robbed him at gun point. The clerk says a second suspect was standing outside the store during the robbery. The suspects stole $170 and ran to a getaway car parked nearby.

Later in the day, around 10:50 p.m., deputies from the Visalia Sheriff’s Substation were called to a robbery at La Estrellita Market on Avenue 328 in Ivanhoe. The two clerks told them a suspect entered the store armed with a gun and took money from the cash register, while a second suspect stood by the door. The suspects then fled the area. Approximately $300 was taken.

On November 22 at 6:44 p.m., Tulare County deputies were called to an armed robbery at the Dollar General Store on Robinson Road in Goshen. They say the suspect pulled out a revolver and demanded cash from the register. The suspect took $300 to $350 and ran away.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department says surveillance video led them to the arrest of 19-year-old Marquel Licon, 20-year-old Roman Cisneros and 19-year-old Joseph Avalos. Detectives say they recovered evidence at the home of one of the suspects. Their bail has been set to  $500,000 each.
