Three arrested in Visalia after detectives find drugs inside a home

Three people have been arrested after detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) unit found drugs and a firearm inside their Visalia home. 

Detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of 1st Street Visalia early Friday morning. 

When officials arrived to the house they located a man inside who was trying to throw away evidence. That man has been identified as 47-year-old Roger Jenkins Lee.

While searching the house detectives found a small amount of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, scales, and other items associated with drug sales. They also found a marijuana plant and a sawed-off rifle with a homemade silencer and a large capacity Magazine. 

Detectives also found two babies inside the home.  

Law enforcement arrested 31-year-old Marta Medrano Leon and 49-year-old Maria Medrano at the home. Officials tell us the two are sisters, and Marta is the mother of both babies. Her boyfriend Roger Jenkins Lee was also arrested. 

All three suspects are facing several felony charges including child endangerment.
