Teenager accused of threatening to shoot up Buchanan High graduation released from custody

The Clovis teenager accused of threatening to shoot people at Buchanan High School’s graduation has been released from custody.

18-year-old Kyle Dwelle attended Buchanan High School in Clovis.

He’s been in jail since June 4th but we have just learned that he was released last week under a new mental health diversion program.

He’ll be wearing an ankle bracelet and will seek mental health treatment.
