Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects in a kidnapping. Detectives say on September 27th, the men kidnapped a Farmersville resident.
Police say the suspects demanded a large sum of money from a Lindsay resident, threatening to kill the victim if they did not comply. The family paid an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies say the victim was later released and law enforcement was contacted a week later.
Detectives identified one of the suspects as Gerardo Reyes from Glendale, Arizona. He was found and arrested. He is now in jail waiting to be extradited back to Tulare County.
Detectives are searching for two other suspects.
