Hanford police have arrested one of the suspects in a Christmas hit and run crash that killed a man.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Angel Castillo last night. Police are still searching for 21-year-old Abraham Chavez who they say was in the SUV with Castillo. They also want 18-year-old Zoe Barillos, who is the registered owner of the car.
32-year-old Raymond Romero, Jr. was killed when police say the driver of the SUV ran a red light and smashed into Romero’s car. Romero’s pregnant girlfriend, two sons and younger cousin were also in the car. They were returning home from a Christmas gathering in Corcoran and just a few blocks from their home when they were struck.
