Suspect Arrested for Wielding an Ax at a Woman in Visalia

Visalia, CA – Two people are in custody after threatening to kill a woman, one of the suspects allegedly swinging an ax.

Visalia police say47-year old DeAnna Espino was waving the ax around at a bus stop threatening to kill the victim.

Hours before, police say the same victim was threatened by Espino’s husband, Anthony Junior. That happened near a shopping center and police say he threatened her with a knife

Why the victim was being threatened is still uncertain. The couple is being charged for assault with a deadly weapon.
