Fresno Police Department has released surveillance video of an armed robbery that happened Monday night at a Little Caesars restaurant in Fresno.

The robbery happened at the location on Clinton and Brawley around 8:00 p.m.

31-year-old Bryan Onyegegbu was taken into custody Tuesday night.

Fresno police say he is responsible for a series of armed robberies in Fresno, including a  Chevron gas station and a Walgreens.

After the Little Caesars robbery, police say some witnesses tried to follow him but they lost track of him. However, that gave officers an area to search during which they located evidence that was linked to Onyegegbu.

Fresno police Lt. Dave Madrigal says during the robberies, the suspect is polite and apologetic.

“Hey I’m sorry nothing personal, I’ve got kids to feed, but give me the money.”
