The big game marked a very big day for one of our KSEE24 loyal viewers and his girlfriend, and you have seen it yourself.
Charles Escalante got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend Amanda after the half time show
through one of our commercials while they were hosting a football party.
It was all a part of the plan. You see, Amanda thought Charles won a Facebook contest about being an Eagles fan.
She and all of their friends and family thought KSEE24 was there to film their football party — and well — we were but with a twist. Little did she know we were also filming her proposal.
The biggest surprise of her life. The answer? Easy. In front of friends and family Charles popped the question to girlfriend Amanda Gonzales during the big game.
“To finally get it done and over with I literally just feel like stress just picked up off my shoulders and just dropped and it’s right there on that finger,” Charles said.
“[I’m] surprised but very happy, and the tears were flowing im just very very happy,” Amanda said.
Almost all friends and family were in the dark thinking Charles won a Facebook contest about being an Eagles superfan.
Amanda said, “Charles is my life partner, my best friend — my everything. I am so excited for our future.”
