The Koda family has grown rice in Dos Palos for over 90 years. Koda Farms is the oldest family-owned and operated rice farm and mill in California. But the family nearly lost it all after they were sent to an internment camp during World War II.
As Alex Backus reports, not only did they rebuild and become a huge success, they helped other Japanese-Americans along the way.
