Stolen U-Haul tracked down in Fresno and driver arrested, say police

FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) – One man is under arrest after he was caught driving a stolen U-Haul truck, according to police.

Officers said that the truck was taken on Sunday from a U-Haul site at Fresno’s Blackstone Avenue and Highway 180. An employee from that store noticed the vehicle on Tuesday in the area of Belmont Avenue and Highway 99 and called Fresno Police.

The vehicle was located in the area of Belmont and Palm Avenues and officers followed it until it stopped. Officers say the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
