Do you plan vote next month? Monday is the last day to register to vote.

“Californians have until midnight tonight to register to vote or update their voter registration,” Secretary of State Alex Padilla said. “If you have moved or changed your name, you need to re-register. Online voter registration is quick and easy at RegisterToVote.ca.gov. The voter registration website is mobile friendly, so you can even register from your smartphone or tablet.”

Do you think you may be registered to vote, but you’re not sure?

“If you are unsure of your voter registration status, take a moment to check it at VoterStatus.sos.ca.gov. This election will have a major impact on our nation, our state, and our local communities in the coming years–make sure your voice is heard,” Padilla said.

Paper voter registration cards are available at most government offices, including libraries and post offices. Paper voter registration cards must be postmarked on or before the Oct. 22 deadline.
