South Valley Mom Arrested For DUI, Child Endangerment

A 34-year old Porterville resident has been arrested on charges of DUI and child endangerment. On Monday afternoon at 3:20 police say they pulled Tereasa Cantrall over in the 300 block of West Morton Avenue.  

Police say Cantrall had two minor children with her inside the vehicle.  During the contract officers determined that Cantrall appeared to under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, and she was taken into custody after allegedly failing field sobriety tests. 

The children were released to the custody of a responsible family member.  Further investigation revealed Cantrall was operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .21%; over two and a half times the legal limit.  

Cantrall was transported and booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office on the charges mentioned above.
