Six people are displaced tonight, after their two-story home caught fire.

The fire broke out on Kerckhoff and first street. Fire investigators say no one was home at the time.

The blaze broke out in a second-floor bedroom of the home. Two bedrooms on the upper level were damaged – along with damage to the first floor. Crews did stop the fire from spreading to the first floor.

The damage to the home is estimated at $100,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
