Shooting at public library leaves 2 dead, 4 injured

A shooting at a public library in Clovis, New Mexico has left two dead and four injured. 

The shooting happened around 4:40 P.M at the Clovis-Carver Public Library.

Reports indicate two people have died. 

A city official says police have taken a person into custody who they believe is responsible for the shooting.

A witness says a man entered the library and started to shoot into the air. The city commissioner said there’s no indication of a motive for the shooting.

Clovis is about 200 miles east of Albuquerque, near the Texas state line.
