SEATTLE (AP) – Eastbound lanes of a highway in Washington state were closed after a semi-truck hauling human waste overturned.

KOMO-TV reports Sunday’s crash on Interstate 90 near Sammamish caused a 4-mile (6-kilometer) backup.

KIRO-TV reports officials with the Washington State Department of Transportation closed all eastbound lanes just before noon.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson says it appears the driver fell asleep. The driver was rescued with minor injuries.

Traffic was getting by on a shoulder lane.

No other vehicles are involved.
