Residents worry about Oroville Dam after repairs


Residents living near the Oroville dam are being drenched in good news and bad news as a rare spring storm moves into the area.

State officials say the dam is good as new after spending over one billion dollars to fix the dam after it was damaged in a storm february of 2017.

But there are rumors there’s seismic activity at the dam.
Someone even posted a map. The Butte County Sheriff took to Facebook dispell the rumors adding he’s monitoring the situation and made  personal visits with engineers and hydrology experts..
