Poutine eating contest supports Special Olympics

Fri Poutinerie Canadian Grill is holding a poutine eating contest Saturday.

Poutine is a Canadian tradition composed of fries topped with gravy and cheese curds. 

The winner of the eating contest takes home $500 and the proceeds will go to the Special Olympics. 

You will need a team of five dressed in a theme to compete. 

Entry fee is $15 per person. 

Fri Poutinerie is located at the Sierra Vista Mall in Clovis.
