New surveillance shows suspects casing Fresno Baskin-Robbins Before Armed Robbery

News

Newly released surveillance video taken before the robbery of the Baskin-Robbins on Shields and Palm on August 14th has been released by investigators, who hope it will lead to arrests in the case, and possibly slow down what’s been a busy two week period for armed robberies in the city.

The video was taken from the parking lot of a nearby furniture store.  In the video you can see the suspects meticulously scoping out the ice cream parlor. Kapur Sandhu lives nearby and talked to police the night of the crime says these kinds of robberies are a sign of the times.  “Because things are getting bad.. All over.. Not just here”, says Sandhu.

Police hope that someone will recognize the suspects due to the high quality of the surveillance.  The suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early twenties. One had on a ski mask and the other had a hoodie covering his face. They fled the location eastbound carrying the Ice Cream store’s register.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at (559) 598-STOP.  You will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
