Nearly 1,700 PG&E customers are without power on Monday in the Fresno/Clovis area, PG&E’s outage map shows.

About 400 customers are located east of the Tower District between Blackstone Avenue and First Street, from Belmont and McKinley avenues.

PG&E said they “found damaged equipment on a power pole.”

Almost 1,300 more customers are without power in northeast Fresno and parts of Clovis.

The outage stretches from Cedar and Minnewawa avenues from Nees Avenue to north of Copper Avenue.

The cause of the larger outage is still unknown, but crews are responding to both outage areas.
