(WTNH) – You have heard of maternity leave and paternity leave, and now, one company is offering “fur-ternity” leave.
It is being offered to employees who recently adopted a pet.

“Fur-ternity leave is actually a one week work from home flexibility for employees if they bring home a four legged pet that primarily lives outside of a cage. They can work from home an entire week,” explained Allison McMenimen, EVP of Client Services at Nina Hale.
The company says the goal is to celebrate its diverse work force and support work-life balance.
