NASA’S Next Mission to Mars; Marina Jurica Live at Vandenberg AFB

NASA Space and Science

We’re getting an inside look at NASA’s next mission to mars. The Insight Lander is undergoing its final tests ahead of liftoff.

The mysterious red planet has its match in the new Mars Lander insight. This will be the first mission to study the interior of mars which will also teach us about our earth moon and other rocky planets.

There are many instruments on board the Lander that will help gather the final frontier of information that we’ve been searching for; the seismometer a heat probe and the rise radio experiments are the most critical.

The Lander is going to be launched into space from Vandenberg Air Force Base on May 5.  This will also be the first interplanetary launch from the west coast.
