It’s time to choose a name for the new Southern White Rhino calf that was just born at the Chaffee Zoo.

The zoo has set a token collector at Twiga Terrance and people can vote by dropping tokens into the designated name slot. The name with the most tokens wins!

Tokens can be purchased for $1 at the zoo’s admission booth or at Twiga Terrace. They say all proceeds will go towards the International Rhino Foundation.

These are the name options:

Jumoke – “loved by everyone”
Khari – “like a king”
Kito – “precious”
Kendi – “the loved one”
Masego – “divine favor”
Kayode – “he brought joy”

The baby calf is a boy! This is Tim and Kayla’s second calf.

The contest will run until March 1st.

The zoo says an announcement on the name will be made in the following days.
