State route 140 is closed at the Yosmite National Park boundary in Mariposa County because of adverse weather.

Highways 120 and 41 are closed within the park because of heavy snow and falling trees. Those roads will stay closed until conditions change.

Caltrans is telling drivers to use an alternate route. Chains or snow tires are required from Whitlock Road to Midpines in Mariposa County.

You can call  Caltrans at 1-800-427-7623 for current highway conditions.
