One person was killed in Fresno County on Friday afternoon when a motorcycle collided with a mail truck, California Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened just after 12:30 p.m. at the intersection or Orange and Manning avenues.
The motorcyclist, who was in his 60s, was riding east on Manning Avenue. The U.S. Postal Service driver stopped at the stop sign while traveling south on Orange Avenue.
The driver told CHP that she stopped, looked both ways, and then pulled out in front of the motorcycle at the 2-way stop.
The motorcyclist was killed.
CHP had the intersection blocked off.
