Mild weather through Independence Day

Temperatures will stay at or below average through the 4th of July holiday.

Sunday warmed a couple degrees above Saturday’s high of 92 degrees in Fresno.

Fresno reached 94 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures will warm to 95 Monday under clear, sunny skies. And temperatures may not get any warmer until the weekend.

Air quality is a growing concern, however. Fresno and Tulare Counties are forecast to have unhealthy air for sensitive groups Monday.

Overnight lows stay in the comfortable low 60s.

Thursday is Independence Day. It will be sunny with a high of 93 degrees.
