Man killed after running stop sign near Hanford

HANFORD, California – A man is dead after a van he was driving ran through a stop sign Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Jackson Ave and 10th Ave near Hanford.

The CHP said a van was traveling west on Jackson Ave when it ran a stop sign and crashed into a Chevy truck traveling north on 10th Ave.

The driver of the Chevy truck was transported to Kaweah Delta in serious condition, according to the California Highway Patrol.
