A man was arrested at Cher’s Malibu home Thursday evening.

23-year-old Donovan Ruiz, who is reportedly the son of one of the singer’s assistants, was taken into custody on a drug-related charge.

Ruiz lives at the home. Police say he helped supply narcotics to a victim who died of a drug overdose in Thousand Oaks, earlier this month. Ruiz will be booked on suspicion of furnishing narcotics that caused death, according to Ventura County sheriff’s Capt. Garo Kuredjian

Cher was not involved and is currently on tour in Australia. She has not commented on the arrest.
